Championing Team USA’s Restorative Sleep on the Road to Milano Cortina 2026
Saatva, the Smarter Luxury Sleep Company, is proud to welcome U.S. Alpine Ski Team member Lauren Macuga as its newest brand ambassador and member of Team Saatva. Known for her speed and rising star power on the slopes, Macuga represents the next generation of elite athletes who embody Saatva’s commitment to excellence. Her pursuit of world-class performance reflects the same dedication to innovation and craftsmanship that defines Saatva.
Lauren Macuga’s rapid ascent on the alpine ski slopes—already earning a World Cup win early in her career—makes her one of the most exciting young talents in the country. What truly sets Macuga apart is her blend of determination and authenticity. Her optimism and spirit resonate with fans and teammates alike, embodying the same comfort and positivity that Saatva brings into people’s lives. As she continues her rise from promising young talent to proven world-stage competitor, her upward trajectory mirrors Saatva’s own growth as a brand redefining the sleep experience, making her a natural fit as an ambassador.
“As an athlete, I’ve learned that sleep is one of the biggest factors in how I show up to train and compete,” said Lauren Macuga. “Quality sleep, rest, and recovery are crucial parts of my training routine, and I know the better I rest, the more energy, focus, and confidence I bring to the slopes. Partnering with Saatva feels natural because they understand that recovery starts with restorative sleep.”
This announcement builds on Saatva’s role as the Official Mattress and Restorative Sleep Provider of Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with its Team USA partnership beginning ahead of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. As part of the collaboration, Saatva will work with Team USA to provide luxury top-of-bed items to Team USA athletes at Milano Cortina 2026 and will work with LA28 to provide mattresses, linens, and pillows to athletes for the LA28 Games.
“At Saatva, we know sleep unlocks a superpower in all of us,” said Ron Rudzin, Founder and CEO of Saatva. “Lauren Macuga is a rising force in alpine skiing, embodying the passion, resilience, and character we admire. We’re thrilled to support her and Team USA on the road to Milano Cortina 2026.”
To mark her ambassador debut, Macuga will be featured across Saatva’s platforms, sharing her perspective on the role of sleep in elite training and competition. As part of her partnership, she has highlighted some of her favorite Saatva picks in a special gift guide designed to inspire athletes and fans alike to prioritize rest as a cornerstone of performance.
Lauren Macuga also shares her insights on the importance of sleep and recovery in a featured post on Saatva’s Sleep Enlightened blog, where she offers her top sleep tips for staying balanced and well-rested.
This partnership reflects Saatva’s broader mission to elevate the importance of sleep as a foundation for strength, recovery, and peak performance. In collaboration with Team USA and NBCUniversal, Saatva will continue to share inspiring athlete stories and spotlight the transformative power of sleep in the lead-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
From luxury craftsmanship to world-class competition, Saatva and Lauren Macuga are guided by the same truth: every victory begins with a great night’s sleep.

About Lauren Macuga
Lauren Macuga, a rising star in alpine skiing, hails from Park City, Utah, where she began ski racing at age seven with Park City Ski & Snowboard. She is part of a uniquely accomplished family, with her siblings Sam (ski jumping) and Alli (moguls) also competing for U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
Macuga has quickly established herself as one of the most promising speed skiers of her generation. After earning a bronze medal at the 2022 World Junior Championships, she spent her first full World Cup season in 2022–23, scoring her first World Cup points in St. Moritz in downhill. In the 2023–24 season, Macuga had a breakout year in super-G, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in Kvitfjell, Norway. She also recorded top-ten finishes of seventh and tenth place during the season, culminating in her debut appearance at the World Cup Finals.
Her momentum carried into 2025, when she won her first World Cup race in the St. Anton super-G—becoming the youngest American since 2007 to win a World Cup speed event and the first U.S. woman ever to win a super-G at that venue. That same year, she claimed bronze in the super-G at her World Championships debut and finished in the top five in all three of her events, solidifying her place among the world’s elite.
