Saatva Launches the Superpower Podcast with U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Athletes

Saatva’s new podcast features U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes in candid conversations about sleep, recovery, and performance, hosted by renowned journalist Dave Briggs.

Saatva, the Smarter Luxury Sleep Company, proudly announces its new podcast, Superpower, about how sleep, recovery, and mental resilience drive peak performance. Hosted by national news and sports anchor Dave Briggs, each episode will feature an in-depth conversation with a U.S. Olympic or Paralympic athlete, diving into their career, struggles, triumphs, and sleep habits.

“We’re extremely proud to be amplifying these incredible athletes’ stories through the Superpower podcast,” said Joe McCambley, Chief Marketing Officer of Saatva. “We know that sleep is critical for peak performance. Through these conversations with world-class athletes, we hope to open up the conversation around the importance of sleep so everyone can rest and recover better.”

The first four episodes of Saatva’s podcast will feature Dave Briggs in conversation with U.S. Olympic and Paralympic legends and athletes:

  • Tara Lipinski – U.S. Olympic gold medalist figure skater Tara Lipinski shares how prioritizing sleep and routine shaped her performance as an elite athlete in her teens, as well as how it continues to ground her as a mother and broadcaster. She opens up about her biggest sleep struggle, fertility journey, and navigating life’s toughest challenges through the lens of recovery and self-awareness.

  • Jessie Diggins – U.S. Olympic gold medalist cross-country skier Jessie Diggins shares why recovery, sleep, and mental health are just as critical as physical grit in elite performance. From building a “bat cave” sleep routine to reframing the “pain cave” as a pathway to joy, Diggins shares her thoughts on resilience, balance, and success.

  • Brenna Huckaby – Three-time U.S. Paralympic gold medalist Para snowboarder Brenna Huckaby shares her inspiration and how challenges ultimately became a springboard for her career. With honesty, humor, and levity, Huckaby shares how motherhood, mental health, and disciplined recovery help her show up fully—on the mountain and in life.

  • Jessica Long – Eighteen-time U.S. Paralympic gold medalist Para swimmer Jessica Long shares how sleep, resilience, and sometimes anger have fueled her record-breaking career and personal growth. From deep recovery naps and mental health advocacy to embracing difference as strength, Long offers a powerful look at what it takes to keep showing up—inside and outside the pool.

“I loved speaking with these incredible athletes through the Superpower podcast,” said Dave Briggs. “I learned so much from each of them—about resilience, performance, and of course, sleep. With Team USA preparing for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, we’re proud to kick off this new series, giving stellar athletes a platform to share what they’ve learned about sleep and their storied careers. What truly stood out was the common thread of grit and determination—and the fact that these incredible athletes are, without question, even better people.”

New episodes of the Superpower podcast will be released monthly and will be available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, with full video episodes streaming on YouTube.
